Metropolis:

“The great avenues of civilisation meet here. I am in the heart of life” – Virginia Woolf (from ‘The Waves‘; talking about Piccadilly Circus).

Numerous photographic images were taken from the same position over the course of an hour. Images were overlaid in an attempt to capture the busy, ever-moving nature of Piccadilly Circus.

RSA Design Directions 2008/2009 Competition

Postage Stamps Brief – Alternative Energy Sources and Energy Conservation

“Design a series of six stamps that will bring attention to this issue.”

My designs show a set of three se-tenant stamps (joined pairs). Each pair shows easily recognisable alternative energy sources, along with simple tips on energy conservation. The se-tenant pairs together make a complete image, and each individual stamp has its own image which works independently.
